Student Blogging Challenge: Week Nine

There are just two weeks left of the Student Blogging Challenge as we have missed a few weeks over the holidays. This weeks theme is Putting it all Together. Below is a poster which lists just some of the tips we have learnt about what makes a quality blog post.

Your challenge this week is to write a top quality blog post which includes as many of these 10 tips as possible! Once you have done this, upload the URL to this form, and give feedback to other bloggers.

OIS Class Councillors: Term 1 + 2

As voted by the students of Room 6, our student class councillors are Nova and Oliver. These two have been doing a fantastic job attending weekly meetings, reporting back to the class and gathering student feedback. They will continue in their roles this term, and we will vote a new set of class councillors in for Term 3 and 4.

Life Education with Harold

What an awesome start to the last week of term - we were lucky enough to have Life Ed and Harold the Giraffe visit us at OIS! Our learning focus was drugs - we learnt about different types of drugs that exist, what addiction is, and the potential effects of drug addiction. Room 6 had lots of laughs at Harold's jokes, and learnt heaps - a huge thanks to the Life Education team!

Student Blogging Challenge: Week Six

This week's theme is music! Music is something that can connect people, no matter where you live, what language you speak, or how old you are. This week there are eight different tasks to choose from, all to do with music! For more information on each task click here. Once you have made your post, share the link on this google doc. Then, follow this link to comment on other blogs.

Try a different type of post this week than you have previously made. For example, if you made a survey last week, do not make another survey! This will enhance your blogging skills!
